The Town of Glen St. Mary held the regular monthly meeting on Tuesday,
June 18, 2013 at 7:05 P.M. at the Town Hall with Council Members Foster and Reneau present.  Council Member Rhynehardt was in the hospital and Council Member Davis’ sister had passed away.  Mayor Juanice Padgett presided over the meeting opening with prayer followed by the flag salute.

Minutes:  Consideration – Approval of minutes of May 21, 2013 – Regular Monthly Meeting:  On a motion by Councilman Reneau, second by Councilman Foster, the Board voted to approve the minutes as presented. (Vote 3-0)

Policy Agenda Items:

A)    Update on Dollar General Store – Mayor Padgett told Council the sewer lines have been completed and camera’d, but she has not received the video from the contractor.  The asphalt has been installed.  Councilman Reneau stated the concrete islands would be done after the asphalt was completed.  The Town has not heard anything else from the Dollar Store about the $10,000 in additional costs they asked the Town to pay.  Mayor Padgett told Council we are waiting to see about hooking the pump back up to help drainage along Jefferson Avenue. 

B)    Update on ATM – Mayor Padgett met with the concrete contractor and voiced the Town’s concerns about the job.  The project is on hold until the Town receives the advanced rents money and the completed agreement.

C)    Update on Davis Travel – Mayor Padgett met with Davis Travel engineer, Scott Lyons Monday morning.  While discussing the project, Mayor Padgett called Town engineer, Tim Norman to have the engineer’s make any necessary changes. Both engineers are in agreement with the changes made.  The Town is waiting on a few documents to be able to send in the application for the permit.

D)    Review Prior Month’s Expenditures (Check Register) – Council had no questions about the prior month’s expenditures.

On a motion by Councilman Foster the Town meeting was adjourned at 7:15 P.M.
