Policy Agenda Items:
Review Prior Month’s Expenditures (Check Register) – Council had no questions about the prior month’s expenditures.
Council Member Davis told Council she had been notified of a smell around the taxidermy business. Council asked Attorney Jon Bense if the Town could do anything about the smell and large number of flies at the business. After he collected a few pieces of information, he told Council he will do some research. Mayor Padgett added she has also smelled it, but thinks it may be associated with the dumpster only being dumped once a week. Attorney Bense responded that he will take a look at other policies used by other communities. Council Member Hodges stated this was one of the top two issues she heard about while campaigning. Mr. Terry Graham, from Environmental Health, was contacted last year regarding this issue and has now been contacted again to try to resolve the issue.
On a motion by Council Member Davis, second by Council Member Hodges, the Town meeting was adjourned at 7:09 P.M.
