Mayor Padgett responded no and added that the $600,000 CDBG grant’s deadline is in May and the St. Johns River Water Management grant of $500,000 has to be paid out by the end of March. Councilman Rhynehardt asked about the free hookups. Mayor Padgett replied they had only been able to hook up the homes where the sewer lines have been cleared by DEP, with the exception of the church parsonage. They have had problems under the trailer, but Councilman Foster will connect it tomorrow. Councilman Foster stated he showed the workers how quickly the connections could be made, but the plumber was not hired by the Town.
On a motion by Council member Hodges, second by Councilman Foster, the Town meeting was adjourned at 7:05 P.M.
