The Town of Glen St. Mary held a budget workshop on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 7:12 P.M. at the Town Hall with Council Members Davis, Foster,Hodges, and Rhynehardt present. Mayor Juanice Padgett presided over the workshop.
The purpose of the workshop was to discuss the Town’s budgets.
Mayor Padgett began with the 2016/2017 Proposed Amended Impact Fee budget. She told Council we had budgeted for one new home for both income and expense but we did not have any new homes build. We are budgeting for one new home for both income and expense for the 2017/2018 Proposed Impact Fee budget. (Notes Attached)
She then moved to the 2016/2017 Proposed Amended Capacity Fee budget. It is also based on one new home for water and one new home and an existing home for sewer but we had one home connected to the water system and an existing home connected to the sewer. The 2017/2018 Proposed Capacity Fee budget reflects one new home for both income and expense, but with a Readiness to Proceed payment of $8,000. Mayor Padgett added that when the sewer connections are completed with the grants, we will need to reanalyze this budget. (Notes Attached)
Mayor Padgett then discussed the 2016/2017 Proposed Amended General Operating Account. She also passed out notes of what the more or less expenses re reflective of. (Please see attached notes for details)
Mayor Padgett closed the budget workshop at 7:40 P.M.
