The Town of Glen St. Mary held the regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall with Council MembersDavis, Hodges, and Rhynehardt present. Councilman Foster was not present. Mayor Juanice Padgett presided over the meeting. Council Member Davis opened with prayer followed by the flag salute.

Public Hearing:
Ordinance 2017-02 – Rezoning approximately 1.04 acres (Parcel #36-2S-21-0051-0011-0070) from Medium Density Residential to General Commercial – Mayor Padgett had Attorney Bense read Ordinance 2017-02 by title. Mayor Padgett then asked if there was anyone present that had any questions or comments. No one from the public was present so Mayor Padgett closed the public hearing and reopened the regular meeting.

Approval of minutes of May 16, 2017 – Regular Monthly Meeting: On a motion by Councilman Rhynehardt, second by Council member Hodges, the Board voted to approve theminutes as presented. (Vote 4-0)
Policy Agenda Items:
Vote to Approve Second Reading of Ordinance 2017-02 - Rezoning approximately 1.04 acres (Parcel #36-2S-21-0051-0011-0070) from Medium Density Residential to General Commercial – On a motion byCouncilman Rhynehardt, second by Council member Davis, the Board voted to approve the second reading of Ordinance 2017-02 as presented. Review Prior Month’s Expenditures (Check Register) – Council member asked about Family Support Registry listed on the monthly check register. Mayor Padgett explained it is for child support. Council had no other questions about the prior month’s expenditures.
Mayor Padgett told Council we are waiting to sign the contract for the grant. She told Council once we get the contracts we may need to have a special meeting to get a few approval votes. If it is close to the next meeting date, we will not call for a special meeting, but just do it within our next regular meeting.
