Town of Glen St. Mary 

The Town of Glen St. Mary held the regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 7:05 P.M. at the Town Hall with Council MembersDavis, Foster, Hodges, and Rhynehardt present. Mayor Juanice Padgett presided over the meeting. Council Member Davis opened with prayer followed by the flag salute.

Minutes: Consideration:

1. Approval of minutes of February 21, 2017 – Regular Monthly Meeting: On a motion by Councilman Foster, second by Council member Davis, the Board voted to approve theminutes as presented. (Vote 5-0)

   Policy Agenda Items:

1. Vote to Award a Contract to Mittauer & Associates for Engineering Related Services under the Town’s CDBG Contract #17DB-OL-04-12-02-N13, upon the approval of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity’s approval. The Town of Glen St. Mary received one (1) proposal to provide engineering related services only. The received proposal was reviewed to ensure the minimum requirements requested in the Request for Proposal was met. - On a motion by Councilman Foster, second by Council member Hodges, the Board voted to award the contract to Mittauer & Associates for Engineering Related Services under the Town’s CDBG Contract #17DB-OL-04-12-02-N13, upon the approval of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity’s approval. (Vote 5-0)

2. Vote to Award a Contract to Jordan & Associates for Administration Services under the Town’s CDBG Contract #17DB-OL-04-12-02-N13, upon the approval of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity’s approval. The Town of Glen St. Mary received one (1) proposal to provide administration services only. The received proposal was reviewed to ensure the minimum requirements requested in the Request for Proposal was met. - On a motion by Councilman Foster, second by Council member Davis, the Board voted to award the contract to Jordan & Associates for Administration Related Services under the Town’s CDBG Contract #17DB-OL-04-12-02-N13, upon the approval of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity’s approval. (Vote 5-0)

3. Review Prior Month’s Expenditures (Check Register) – Councilman Foster asked about the slag. It was used under the new shelter. Council had no questions about the prior month’s expenditures.

    

   Councilman Foster asked about the storage buildings variance application from last month’s meeting. Mayor Padgett told Council that they had put that project on hold for now.

   On a motion by Council member Davis, second by Council member Hodges, the Town meeting was adjourned at 7:08 P.M.
